Ronald McDonald House, Albany NY

Each month a group of Kiwanis Members cooks dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.

The Vandy & Vanderheyden School

Kiwanis has partnered with Vanderheyden School and has volunteered at The Vandy & other projects.

Foster Care Bags

In fall 2022 Heather James generously donated the funds to able us to decorate and pack bags for local foster care children.

Fisher House

Each month we cook for the folks staying at the Fisher House in Albany.

Veterans

May 2022 – Our new Kiwanis Club Walked in the Memorial Day Parade

During the month of November, we ran a food drive for local Veterans in Need.

Bells of Life

In support of the Capital District Kiwanis Mission, we helped sell Bells of Life in support of the Pediatric Albany Medical Center. This year’s funds go toward purchasing transportation for Albany Med patients.

Annual Craft Fair

On October 1, 2022, we held our first annual craft fair which raised enough money to pay for our monthly cooking at Ronald McDonald House.
